..:: ABC ::..

Friday, April 29, 2011

Ahmad M. Fard, DDS, MS

Anthony Neely, DDS, MDentSc, PhD

Course Overview

This one-day implant course emphasizes the sound decision making process that will help the general practitioner avoid complications during implant therapy. Issues in implant placement from a surgical point of view will be presented. Soft and hard tissue evaluation and assessment will be presented in a logical manner that helps practitioners aim for optimal functional and esthetic outcomes.

The hands-on component of this course will teach participants how to make impressions and surgical guides in their office. Appropriate implant and abutment selection will be presented as well as indications for different prosthetic restorations (i.e. screw versus cement retained) to the participants.

This course presents treatment planning for partially-edentulous patients for implant-supported restorations. Participants are encouraged to bring their cases from private practice for discussion.
