This course will cover two critical topics necessary for successful patient interaction and communication. Evidence based dentistry plays a critical role in provider decision making and patient decisions. Information about evidence based decision making will be presented as well as how to best present information in a manner that addresses health literacy, patient comprehension and follow up. Participants will be asked to discuss cases as well as “role play”.
