Bruce Peltier, PhD is a Professor of Psychology and Ethics at the Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. He is a 1970 graduate of West Point and has a master’s in education, a doctorate in counseling psychology, and an M.B.A. Dr. Peltier has conducted hypnosis training in a wide variety of settings since 1987. Participants have included psychologists, psychiatrists, physicians, dentists, school counselors, substance abuse counselors, and the clergy in the United States and in Europe. He is past president of the San Francisco Academy of Hypnosis and was Co-Director of the California Institute of Clinical Hypnosis and Health Sciences. He is an honorary Fellow of the American College of Dentists and has received distinguished teaching awards at the University of the Pacific and the University of San Francisco.The second edition of his book The Psychology of Executive Coaching was published by Routledge Press in 2009. He currently serves as associate editor of ASDE's professional journal and is an honorary fellow of the American College of Dentists.
