Richard Kulbersh, DMD, MS, Chairperson of the Department of Orthodontics, Director of Graduate Orthodontics is a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He received his M.S. in Orthodontics from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, is currently a full-time professor, and has been chair and program director of the postgraduate orthodontic program since 1985. Dr. Kulbersh has lectured at local, national, and international meetings, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, an ABO and Council on Dental Accreditation examiner, a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, International College of Dentists, Pierre Fauchard Academy, and a member of the American Association of Orthodontists as well as many other dental organizations. He has written and co-authored over 15 articles on various orthodontic topics such as orthodontic appliances and orthodontics and gnathology. Dr. Kulbersh currently sees patients at UDM and maintains a private practice in Sterling Hgts, MI.
