Tuition-paid registrations are processed in the order in which they are received and will be acknowledged electronically through e-mail.
- Online registration is the preferred method of registering for all continuing education courses. Please visit the individual course webpage and click on the "Register for this event" tab and follow the instructions to complete your registration.
- Fax your completed registration form and MasterCard or Visa credit card information to 313-494-6844. Please use one form per person, per course.
- Call 313-494-6626 and use your MasterCard or Visa credit card to register.
- Mail your registration form and check payable to the University of Detroit Mercy - Dental CE. If you choose to pay for a continuing education course by check, please note that the check must be received by UDM within ten (10) days of registration. If the check is not received within ten (10) days of registration, we will assume that you are no longer interested in the course and will remove you from the course roster and you will forfeit your held seat. If you register less than ten (10) days prior to the start of a course, payment will be accepted up to the course start time. If additional time is required, please contact 313-494-6626 prior to registering to make a payment arrangement.

Early registration is advised to guarantee a place in all course(s).
We are pleased to announce that all courses are offered to UDM alumni at a 10% discount. Please make sure to choose “alumni” as part of your highest credential while registering for all courses.
Unfortunately, we unable to guarantee the ability to make a correction to the tuition rate once you have registered for a course. Should an error have been made while registering for a course, please notify our office at your earliest convenience. We will make every effort to correct the problem, or to apply a credit toward a future course.
For your convenience you may register up until 3:00pm on the day prior to the start of the course with no additional charge. An additional non-refundable fee of $20 dollars per person, per course will be assessed to any registrations received after 3:00pm the day prior to a course or to any same day or walk in registrations.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Unless otherwise posted, a full refund less $25 will be granted if notification of cancellation is received by the Institute for Advanced Continuing Dental Education office two weeks (14 or more days) prior to the start of the course. If a cancellation is received less than two weeks (13 or less days) prior to the start of a lecture only course, a full refund less $100 will be granted. If a cancellation is received less than two weeks (13 or less days) prior to the start of a hands-on course, no refund will be granted.
Refunds cannot be given for same any day cancellations or no-shows.
*There will be a $100 administration fee charged for cancellation or rescheduling of the Local Anesthesia Administration for the Dental Hygienist course, including the clinical session, once the participant is registered in a lecture and laboratory session.
