Michael Gleason

Dr. Gleason is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical and Diagnostic Sciences at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. Since 1985 he has been course director and principal lecturer in the Biochemistry, Molecular Biology,  and Nutrition courses at the School. Dr. Gleason also participates in clinical teaching, providing chair-side pharmacology and therapeutics instruction.He has presented CE course on topics ranging from nutrition to computers. Dr. Gleason received a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Kent State University and his D.D.S. degree from Indiana University. He did a Post-Doctoral year in the Department of Biochemistry at School of Medicine Case Western Reserve University with Dr. Don M. Carlson. He was a research scientist at the Biochemistry Department School of Agriculture at Purdue University and at the Oral Health Research Institute at Indiana University prior to coming to the University of Detroit School of Dentistry.
