Sam Blanchard

Dr. Blanchard is an UDM Dental School alumnus and originally from Cadillac, MI. In 2003, he completed his Bachelor's of Science degree in Physiology at Michigan State University. Dr. Blanchard continued his education at the University of Detroit Mercy School Of Dentistry, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2008.

Upon completion of his dental degree Dr. Blanchard started his training in a Pediatric Dentistry in the residency The University of Michigan. Dr. Blanchard completed his training in 2010, earning a certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. During his residency, he completed his Master's thesis on Unprofessional Online Postings by Dental Students: A Survey of Dental School Administrators and Dental Students. His research interests include the professional development of dental students and the use of technology in dental education.

Dr. Blanchard is a candidate for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is also a member Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

In his free time, Dr. Blanchard enjoys spending time backpacking, hunting, and fishing.
