When times get tough and people lose their jobs, preventive dental care seems to be one of the first things they eliminate. A a result, many people suffer from acute dental problems, some of which can be life threatening.

Oral Cancer Walk Detroit 2009 - Saturday, June 6th

Please join us in raising awareness of oral cancer, a silent killer of over 7,000 American men and women each year. Major risk factors are tobacco and heavy alcohol use. If detected in its earliest stages, oral cancer is easily treated!

This June, come with your friends and family members and participate in a thoughtful cause. Prizes to raffle and fun family entertainment will be present during the registration period.

Join us Saturday, May 16th from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the School of Dentistry Clinic for a day of oral health outreach. This event will provide free emergency dental care and oral health education to ADULTS who have an immediate dental need. This event is made possible by dental professionals who are volunteering their time and services.
