Faculty Position - Department of Patient Management
The University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry invites applications for a full-time, tenure or clinical track position at the assistant/associate professor level in the Department of Patient Management, available July 1, 2008. Responsibilities include clinical and didactic instruction of dental and dental hygiene students and AEGD residents, participation in research/scholarly activity, and service to the University and profession. The ideal candidate will have clinical and previous teaching experience in comprehensive general dentistry. Interest/experience teaching treatment planning is highly desirable. Intramural/extramural practice opportunities are available. Requirements include a DDS/DMD degree from an ADA accredited dental school, with preference given to applicants with 5 or more years of experience and/or completion of an AEGD program (preferably from an accredited North American program), and eligibility for a license to practice in the state of Michigan. Rank and salary will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.
