The University of Detroit Mercy invites applications for a full-time and part-time clinical track faculty position in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Teaching responsibilities include clinical and classroom instruction of dental students in all aspects of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Requirements include a D.D.S. or D.M.D. from a dental school recognized by the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation or equivalent foreign B.D.S. or D.D.S. training; must have successfully completed advanced training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at an accredited institution. The candidate must be eligible for a license to practice in the state of Michigan. The position becomes available in Fall 2008.
