Endodontics is the dental specialty concerned with treatment of infection and inflammation of the dental pulp, the nerve and blood supply inside the tooth. The most common way to treat problems is with root canal treatment.
Patient Care Services
Residents, dentists who are receiving additional training, provide various endodontic treatments including root canals and endodontic surgery at fees approximately 70-75% those charged by private dentists. Dental students provide simple root canal treatment for patients they are currently treating. Both dental students and residents are supervised by licensed faculty dentists with endodontic specialty training.
