The Seven-Year BS/DDS academic program enables students to earn a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) and a Baccalaureate Degree in seven calendar years, rather than the traditional eight. This program is meant for and only available to high school students pursuing undergraduate education with strong academic credentials.  In this program, students spend the first three years on the UDM McNichols Campus in the College of Engineering and Science.  They then matriculate to the School of Dentistry for the last four years.

Accelerated Dental Program:

The purpose of this program is to provide dentists educated in foreign dental schools an opportunity to earn a DDS degree from an accredited U.S. dental school in order to help meet the educational requirements for eligibility for licensure in all states. It is also helpful to those planning an academic career in dental education and research as it provides valuable teaching experience.
