Program Highlights

• The degree completion program caters to licensed Dental Hygienists who have graduated from an accredited dental hygiene program.
• 126 semester credit hours (minimum) are needed to complete a Bachelor of Science degree with a Dental Hygiene major
  • LAST 30 credits must be at UDMercy
• On Campus program (limited on-line classes available)
• Enroll during any semester;  Full or Part Time
• Unlimited time commitment to complete
• Individualized curriculum based on past education
  • Directed Studies available in Community Research, Teaching Preparation, Community Health, others
• Academic Grants given based on incoming GPA
  • To qualify, a minimum of 12 semester hours per semester is needed
• Required courses taken through the College of Liberal arts and Education, and the School of Dentistry
