ADEA is a national organization for dental educators and students, residents, and fellows who are interested in dental education.
At UDM, it is composed of dental and dental hygiene students and residents who are interested in dental education. Membership is FREE. Therefore, if you are considering becoming a dental educator in the future, join ADEA.

The mission of the American Dental Education Association is to lead individuals and institutions of the dental education community to address contemporary issues influencing education, research, and the delivery of oral health care for the improvement of the health of the public.
Lunch n' Learns will be held in the upcoming year, as well as opportunities to do community work in schools to inform students K-12 of the great rewards in becoming dental professionals. Also in the works is a plan for UDM students belonging to ADEA to become mentors to the dental and dental hygiene classes under them in hopes to encourage students to become educators after dental school.
