Description of Opportunity*: Very friendly, "family" style office seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team in our Dearborn office. We are super fun, and love what we do! This is a Part-Time position! Salary commensurate with experience. Our office hours Mon-Wed are 7:30-4:00pm. Thursdays 7:30-7:00pm (2 hour lunch break). We also work 1 Saturday, half day, a month.

You must display outstanding customer service and chair side manner while making our patients the #1 priority. Time management skills are the norm here; our patients don't wait.


Use dental instruments to clean accretions, calcareous deposits, and stains from teeth and beneath margins of gums.
Look for indications of oral cancer by feeling lymph nodes under patient chins for signs of tenderness or swelling.
Note and review patient medical history.
Use probes to examine and locate periodontal recessed gums and other signs of gum disease.
Record dental decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by dentists.
Maintain dental equipment and x-ray machine.
Take digital radiographs of diagnostic quality.
Feel and visually examine gums for signs of disease, sores, and other dental health issues.
Expose and develop x-ray films.
Sharpen and sterilize dental instruments.
Promote preventative dental care to improve patient oral health care.
Apply fluorides and other dental decay preventing agents.

Associates or bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene.
Current Michigan dental Hygienist license.
Excellent working knowledge of dentistry and dental hygiene procedures.
CPR certification.
Ability to deliver the very best oral health care to our patients.
Ability to work well and collaborate with a team.
Experience with Eaglesoft is preferred.
Strong commitment to confidentiality and integrity.
