We are currently seeking a Full-Time Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate needs to be passionate about oral health, highly skilled in dental hygiene procedures, and dedicated to providing compassionate care to patients of all ages. As a part of the Caring Family Dentistry team, you will play a vital role in promoting good oral hygiene practices and helping patients achieve and maintain healthy smiles.

Duties and Qualifications:

  • Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleanings, scaling, and root planing, to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from patients' teeth.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' oral health, including examining gums, teeth, and oral tissues for signs of disease or abnormalities.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for at-home care.
  • Take dental x-rays and assist dentists with examinations and treatments as needed.
  • Document patient treatment plans, procedures performed, and treatment outcomes accurately in patient records.
  • Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols in accordance with industry standards and practice policies.
  • Collaborate with other members of the dental team to ensure the delivery of comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
  • Valid state dental hygiene license and CPR certification.
  • Proven experience working as a dental hygienist, preferably in a dental practice setting.
  • Strong knowledge of dental hygiene principles, techniques, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and engage patients effectively.
  • Attention to detail and proficiency in maintaining accurate patient records.
  • Ability to work well independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care and safety.
