Description of Opportunity: The General Practice Residency Program at Denver Health was established in 1955. It is a 1-year CODA accredited program with 10 residents per class. The program provides robust training via rotations in Endodontics, Prosthodontics, Periodontics, Special Healthcare Needs, Pediatric Dentistry, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and Oral Medicine. Hospital exposure is enhanced further with OR experiences and rotations in the Anesthesiology and Emergency Departments. Train at a Level-1 Trauma Center and one of the largest safety net hospital networks in the country! The GPR Clinic resides in DH’s Outpatient Medical Center. Residents receive unrivaled exposure to dental trauma, emergencies, and medically complex patients via the Emergency Clinic and On-Call Rotations.
